What is a good niche for a website?

Hello, I am trying to create a website that is profitable (Adsense, Commisions, etc,) but I really do not know what market to choose. I am really good at computer hardware, I was thinking in making a site that helps you how to build a computer (gaming, home theater pc, etc). is that a good niche, if not can someone tell me what is good for this year? Computer hardware would be good, do it on something you can write about and enjoy. The good thing about your niche is that your visitors will generally be interested in buying products (computer hardware), so the value of your traffic is relatively high. There is new hardware coming out all the time so you will never run out of things to write about.

What online business should I run?

I am looking into starting an online business. My previous 9-5 job has been making me 6 figures ($100,000) and up per year. However, I would like to quit my 9-5 job. I hear some affiliate marketers online make 1 million dollars and more a year! I would really like to start an online business that could make me six or more figures a year. I know you cant get rich quick online, but it would be nice to eventually get rich online.

I have no idea as of where to start with choosing an online business. What online businesses are the best and most profitable that could make me six or more figures a year? I have a couple ideas so far. Please let me know if you think any of these online business ideas could make me six or more figures a year.

1. A website that contains a lot of content (how to articles, articles, videos, guides, etc.) on a certain niche. The content along with promotion would bring a lot of traffic to my site. I would then place ads like Google Adsense and I would promote relevant affiliate products on my site to make money. Could this online business idea make me six or more figures a year?

2. A auction/marketplace website where users can trade, buy, and sell gift cards for money. The site would have a auction/marketplace section where sellers could choose a price and list their gift card. If buyers like the card that is listed, they could purchase the gift card. I would take the buyers money until there is positive feedback from the buyer, or no feedback for 30 days. If that is the case, I would give the seller the cash. I would make money by charging a small proccessing fee from the seller before giving the cash. I would also put ads on the site. I could also put a “direct sell” section where users who want quick cash can send me there gift card to my PO Box. After I verify the card, I send the seller cash. I then sell the gift card on a different site for more than I payed for the card. Could this online business idea make me six or more figures a year?

Do you think any of these online business ideas could make me six or more figures a year? I would really like to retire in Florida with the money I make online. Any other suggestions for online business ideas that could make me six or more figures a year? Thanks!!!!!

I’m glad to hear you understand that you can’t make money overnight, contrary to what you might be hearing from people trying to sell you useless stuff.

Idea 1 would work – that is definitely the long term strategy to success. But you need to work at it for a while to build up an income and how much depends on what you are selling.

What you earn is related to the number of visitors. If you have 1,000 visitors a day and 1% clicked a google ad, that would be 10 a day at say $.50 a click = $5 a day = less than $2,000 a year. So check the figures – how many people do you need to buy products from you per day to give you $100,000? The more visitors you need to do this, the more investment you need and the harder you have to work.

I would suggest you develop a couple of products of your own – but get the website started first and see where you think a new product could fit in (the sooner you start the website the sooner you can retire!).

This subject is vast and there is no quick fix, just like any other business. You need to spend a lot of research time deciding what online business to start and how to do it. You may need several websites to make the money you want. But start one first, make some mistakes and learn from them and don’t give up your day job yet.

As to your second suggestion, I don’t get it so can’t comment. But again, it would all depend on the traffic and how you promote the website.

how can i upload a png picture to amazon.com ebook kindle?

I wrote an ebook for amazon.com. I converted pdf to epub, but I have repeatedly failed to upload a separate ebook cover I had designed for my ebook. I try to upload it onto amazon, and it rejects it saying it is a fake file. I tried copying the png to word, but it didn’t take. I cannot send two different files (one for photo and one for book)

I think you need a eBook creator which enables you to design a cover from any images whilst convert pdf file to ePub format. And it is made as a book.

If you write an amazon ebook do you have worldwide rights to it?

I mean if you just type a book and put it on amazon for the kindle without publishing it anywhere else first do you have worldwide rights to the title?

When you write somehting, you have automatically the copyright on it.

Now, when you put an ebook on amazon for the kindle, if I am correct, you click a button where you sign a contract: you must read that contract and make sure that this does not give exclusive distribution rights on your ebook to amazon

Does a Kindle or an ebook have the functionality of searching the text for a particular word?

Right now I’m in a bind after having read a book and taken copious notes and am now in the essay-writing stage, only to find that the notes I took aren’t helping me much. The problem was that there ws no way for me to know before I finished the book, which details of the book were most pertinent to the main message of the book, because the main message of the book wasn’t clear until the last page. The essay requires that we include quotes and cite page numbers…and now I’m recalling details from the book that will support my essay, but they’re details that I did not take notes on, therefore I have no idea where in the book, let alone on which page number I can find them.

How can I get an electronic, searchable version of this book: The Awakening by Kate Chopin ?

Cooperate with Inevitable

Truly, the only thing that is constant in people’s lives is change – and the twin brother of change is inevitability. Because of the complex interaction of different factors in physical reality, sometimes, events happen beyond our control. These inevitable events can cause a lot of worrying on your part. You must learn how to cooperate with inevitability, because it really is a fixed variable in our World.

In our earlier lessons, we touched upon acceptance and improvement. These two activities go hand in hand with ending worry. Once you accept the inevitable, you can exert control over your reality once again by improving your conditions after the inevitable has already occurred.

It is important that we learn to be content in whatever situation we find ourselves in. This idea was once expressed better by a simple hearted man, a man at peace no matter what the situation, the Apostle Paul who was asked how he managed to live in such a state of constant calm and rest even though surrounded by circumstances anything but pleasant. His answer was as deep as it was simple; I have learned, he said, to cooperate with the inevitable, how to be content.

There are things we cannot control but we can determine what our attitude toward it may be. We can accept whatever state or situation we find ourselves in and embrace the moment and learn something that will help us along life’s journey. Acceptance is an important tool in conquering worry because once you stop fighting the inevitable (which is futile war in itself), you start to focus on the more important stuff in your life – such as the problems that you can solve easily.Why focus on things that you can no longer modify? Just focus on problems that you can easily solve so you’ll be able to accomplish more in a shorter time frame. If you’re bound to lose something important (like your job), you need to focus on your options after the event has already transpired. In essence, you’ll be empowering yourself by creating options and solutions.

facebook login???????

ok so everytime i try logging into facebook it says “account temporarily unavalible” and like stuff about site maintenance…. it says try back in a few hours. but this has been happening since friday night i couldnt login at all yesterday and now this morning it says the same thing

is there anything i can do to fix this?
is it normal?

Do a google search on facebook site maintenance limited to the last 24 hours or a week and you will see there is a major problem with one of the databases. I have been down since last Sunday. The site error I see when I sign in is an expanded site maintenance error. They finally acknowledged on Tuesday that they have a problem with one of the databases. There is a pretty good explanation in an article on Cnet, among other places. My husband can sign onto his account just fine. So it is just one database, although I see posts of other people having different, minor problems.

Facebook login?

Ever since I got a a face book I can’t get on, only on my computer, I’ve tried changing my password, and it will login for a split second, and then it’ll say it’s incorrect. It works on other people’s computers. Is there any software I need? My computer is an HP. Also, my browser says something about the connection being encrypted.

Perhaps you need to upgrade your internet browser
try upgrading your internet explorer browser (if thats the one u have, or whatever browser u have) to the latest version
that might do the trick
o also check ur cookie preferences
right click the internet explorer icon
click properties
then click on the third tab which is Privacy and check ur setttings
sometimes if ur computer blocks cookies ur facebook won’t login

i downloaded the mobile facebook chat app for my straighttalk phone and it is asking me to login with my login name and password. it won’t let me use my regular facebook login. i tried using my url name and that didn’t work either. what is the login name that it is asking for?
